Safety can also be safeguarded with regard to cybersecurity up to SL 4 (Safety & Security).

• For functional safety we offer comprehensive consulting and development services:
  • MTBF, FMEA, FMECA, fault tree analysis/FTA, HazOp
• Cybersecurity is implemented according to CLC/TS 50701 and the IEC 62443 referenced therein. We also protect functional safety through cybersecurity.   
• Verification and validation are carried out reliably and automated to the greatest possible extent in a specialised department and our in-house test laboratories, which also ensure reliability via HALT tests.
• We support our customers in qualification and certification processes with testing authorities.
• The complete preparation and handover of the development documents is a matter of course for us.
• In 2022, embeX was awarded by the German Industry association BAHNVERBAND e.V. as “Supplier for the railway industry with special recommendation”.

Series and Product Life Cycle

• Once development is complete, we responsibly outsource your production - or that of an EMS - and accompany your product through its entire life cycle with the support of the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT).
• We are happy to take over the maintenance of your successful branded products and thus relieve your team.
• Through re-engineering, we also ensure the availability of your products in the event of obsolescence.
